The Shoe Box first opened in Haslemere in 1997 offering a shoe repair, key cutting and manual engraving service to the local community. In 2002, Andrew and Angela took over the business with one thing in mind, to offer a first class and friendly service. Andrew has learned everything he knows about the trade from his father, a shoemaker from the east end of London for many years.

Over the years, to survive,shoe repair shops have had to diversify and we were no different. Key cutting,engraving and watch repair services were introduced and now these services along with shoe repairs play a very big part in our business.

We now have state of the art computerized engraving machines, the latest key cutting machines and in 2007 took delivery of a brand new plant of shoe repair machinery all of which should keep us going for a few more years.
